HYDRODOMIKI CONSULTING ENGINEERS Ltd. was founded in 2004 as a continuation of HYDRODOMIKI – TH. I. MATZIARAS & PARTNERS, witch was established in 1970. The company is engaged in the planning, design, construction supervision and commissioning of hydraulic engineering and environmental studies, as well as in water resources management.

Flood Protection Projects

Technical projects designed to protect people and inhabited areas from flooding. These include traditional grey (concrete) works for stream regulation/demarcation and flow control, road drainage systems, embankments, dams, as well as environmentally friendly (green) projects (nature-based solutions) in rural areas (river restoration to their natural course, retention basins, planting, wooden dams, etc.), and in urban areas (permeable pavements, green roofs, etc.).

Dams - Reservoirs

Technical projects for retaining or permanently storing river, stream, and torrent waters intended for various purposes, such as water supply, irrigation, recreation, and energy production. These also include all necessary related works and facilities, such as sediment management systems, as well as environmental protection interventions, like fish passages.

Land Reclamation Projects

Technical projects aimed at the development and preservation of water, soil, and agricultural resources, carried out on agricultural lands. These primarily include hydraulic works for irrigation, sewage, and drainage of agricultural areas, as well as other related projects, such as remote control installations and rural road networks.
